Dr. Justin Mohatt, MD is a child, adolescent and adult psychiatrist practicing in San Francisco and Seattle. He attended Stanford University where he majored in psychology with a focus on developmental issues and completed medical school at University of Washington in Seattle. He completed his internship and general psychiatry residency at Cambridge Hospital and child and adolescent fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital, both teaching hospitals for Harvard Medical School. He served as a chief resident in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry during his final year at MGH.
Since completing training in 2005 Dr. Mohatt built a private practice in the Seattle area and recently opened a practice in San Francisco. He has extensive experience and interest in working with patients suffering from anxiety disorders, obsessive compulsive disorder, mood disorders including depression and bipolar disorder, child and adult ADHD, and autism spectrum disorders. He enjoys helping adolescents, young adults and their families manage and balance the stress, obligations and transitions of high school and college years. In addition Dr. Mohatt has a longstanding interest in working with families facing issues of death and dying including helping parents who are terminally ill, as well as working with dying children and their families.
Dr. Mohatt donates 5% of all fees to Achieve, a local non-profit organization providing four year educational scholarships and cultural experiences to underprivileged youths in the San Francisco area. To learn more please go to www.achieveprogram.org.
